Apple Cranberry Pie
Ingredients
Makes
8 to 1 0 servings

1 package (8 ounces)
Cream Cheese,
softened
-
1/2 cup firmly packed
brown sugar, divided
-
1 egg
-
1 unbaked pastry
shell (9 inch)
-
2 cups sliced apples
-
1/2 cup halved
cranberries
-
1 teaspoon ground
cinnamon, divided
-
1/3 cup flour
-
1/3 cup
old-fashioned or quick-cooking oats, uncooked
-
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter or margarine
-
1/4 cup chopped Walnuts
Method:
-
Beat cream cheese and
1/4 cup of the sugar with electric mixer on medium
speed until well blended. Blend in egg. Pour into
pastry shell.

Toss apples, cranberries and
1/2
teaspoon of the cinnamon. Spoon over cream cheese
mixture in pastry shell.

Mix flour, oats, remaining
1/4 cup sugar and remaining 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon. Cut
in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Stir in walnuts. Spoon over fruit mixture.

Bake at 375°F for 40
to 45 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool
slightly before serving.
