Ingredients

pt/2 1/2 cups milk

2 eggs

25 g/1 oz/2 tbsp caster
(superfine) sugar

Butter, for greasing

Grated nutmeg, for
dusting
Method:

Warm the milk. Lightly beat the eggs and sugar
together. Pour over the hot milk, whisking all the
time.

Strain into an greased ovenproof dish. Dust
with nutmeg.

Bake in a preheated oven at
150°C/300°F/gas mark 2 for about 45 minutes or
until set.
