Dessert Recipes - Boozy Dairy Pears Recipe
Ingredients

ripe pears, halved, peeled and cored

40 g/1 1/2 oz/3 tbsp butter, melted

100 g/4 oz/1/2 cup light
brown sugar

225 g/8 oz/1 cup fromage frais

ml/8 fl oz/1 cup double (heavy) cream, whipped

ml/8 fl oz/1 cup thick plain yoghurt

ml/6 tbsp coffee liqueur

A pinch of ground cinnamon

Instant coffee powder, for dusting
Method:

Lay the pears
on foil on a grill
(broiler) rack. Mix the melted butter with 30 ml/2 tbsp of the sugar and brush over the pears.

Grill (broil) for 5 minutes, turning once and
brushing with more of the butter mixture during
cooking.

Meanwhile, put the remaining ingredients in
a bowl with the remaining sugar. Whip gently until
blended and fairly stiff.

Place the pears on serving
plates and top with the cream mixture. Dust very
lightly with coffee powder and serve straight away.
