Dessert Recipes - Vanilla Corn Flour Pudding Recipe
Ingredients

g/1 1/2 oz/1/4 cup corn flour (cornstarch)

600 ml/2 1/2 cups milk

g/1 oz/2 tbsp caster (superfine) sugar

2.5
ml/1/2 tsp vanilla essence (extract)

egg, beaten

Butter, ,or greasing

Clotted Cream, to serve
Method:

Blend the corn flour with a little of the milk and
the sugar in a bowl. Bring the remaining milk just
to the boil.

Pour over the corn flour, stirring all
the time. Return to the saucepan and cook, stirring,
until thickened. Allow to cool slightly, then whisk
in the vanilla essence and beaten egg.

Turn into a
greased ovenproof dish. Bake in a preheated oven at 140°C/275°F/gas mark 1 for 45 minutes. Serve
hot with
Clotted Cream.
