Dessert Recipes - Belgian Chocolate Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

  • 175 g/6 oz/1 1/2 cups bitter Belgian chocolate

  • 300 ml/1 1/4 cups water

  • 75 g/3 oz/1/3 cup granulated sugar


Method:

  1. Break up the chocolate and put in a saucepan with the water.

  2. Heat until the chocolate melts, then stir in the sugar until dissolved.

  3. Simmer until the sauce is syrupy and coats the back of a spoon. Serve cold.
