Dessert Recipes - Brandied Loganberry Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

  • 225 g/8 oz fresh or frozen loganberries

  • 45 ml/3 tbsp brandy

  • 15 ml/1 tbsp water

  • Icing (confectioners') sugar


Method:

  1. Gently stew the loganberries in the brandy and water for about 8 minutes.

  2. Puree in a blender or food processor, then pass through a sieve (strainer) to remove the seeds.

  3. Sweeten to taste with sifted icing sugar and serve cold.
