Ingredients

cup unsalted (sweet) butter, softened

100 g/4 oz/1 1/4 cup
caster (superfine) sugar

15
ml/1 tbsp brandy
or sherry

50 g/2
oz/1/2 cup ground almonds
Method:

Beat
together the butter and sugar
until light and fluffy. Beat
in the brandy or sherry and the almonds.

Pile
into a serving bowl and chill
before
serving.
