Dessert Recipes - Orange Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

• Finely grated rind and juice of 1 orange

• Juice of 1 lemon

• 15 ml/1 tbsp arrowroot

• Caster (superfine) sugar

Method:

1. Make the fruit rind and juices up to 300 ml/1 1/4 cups with water.

2. Blend a little with the arrowroot in a saucepan, then stir in the remainder.

3. Bring to the boil, stirring all the time, until thickened and clear. Sweeten to taste with caster sugar. Serve hot.
