Dessert Recipes - Smooth Strawberry Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

• 225 g/8 oz strawberries, quartered

• 15 ml/1 tbsp crème de cassis or blackcurrant cordial

• 15 ml/1 tbsp icing (confectioners') sugar

• A few drops of vanilla essence (extract)

1. Put all the ingredients in a blender or food processor. Puree until smooth. Chill until ready to serve.
