Ice Cream Recipe
Ingredients

450 ml/2 cups
single (light) cream
-
2 egg yolks
-
100 g/4 oz/1/2 cup
caster (superfine) sugar
-
5 ml/1 tsp almond essence
(extract)

300 ml/1 1/4 cups double (heavy) cream
-
100 g/ cup almond macaroons,
crushed
Method:

Prepare
as for any of the
vanilla
ice creams, but
substitute almond
essence
(extract) for the
vanilla and fold in 100 g/4 oz/1 cup
crushed almond macaroons at the final whisking, then
freeze until
firm.
