Coconut Ice Cream Recipe
Ingredients

450 ml/2 cups
single (light) cream
-
2 egg yolks
-
100 g/4 oz/1/2 cup
caster (superfine) sugar
-
5 ml/1 tsp vanilla essence
(extract)
-
300 ml/1 1/4 cups double (heavy) cream
-
45 ml/3 tbsp cocoa powder
-
30 ml/2 tbsp grated creamed
Method:
-
Prepare as for any of the vanilla ice creams, but
whisk the cocoa (unsweetened chocolate) powder
and 30 ml/2 tbsp grated creamed coconut into
the warmed cream before making the custard.
