Dessert  Recipes - Coffee Ice Cream Recipe

Ingredients

• 450 ml/2 cups single (light) cream

• 2 egg yolks

• 100 g/4 oz/1/2 cup caster (superfine) sugar

• 5 ml/1 tsp vanilla essence (extract)

• 300 ml/1 1/4 cups double (heavy) cream

• 15 ml/1 tbsp instant coffee powder or granules dissolved in 10 ml/2 tsp water

Method:

1. Prepare as for any of the vanilla ice creams, but whisk in the instant coffee powder or granules water before folding in the whipped cream or Dream Topping.
