Dessert  Recipes - Fireside Ice Cream Recipe

Ingredients

• 4 egg yolks

• 225 g/8 oz/2/3 cup thick honey

• A pinch of ground cloves

• 600 ml/1 pt/2 1/2 cups double (heavy) cream

• 150 ml/2/3 cup whisky

Method:

1. Whisk the egg yolks with the honey and cloves until thick and doubled in volume.

2. Whip together the cream and whisky until peaking, then lightly whisk or fold into the honey mixture.

3. Turn into a freezer proof container and freeze until firm.
