Dessert  Recipes - Fresh Strawberry Ice Cream Recipe

Ingredients

• 450 ml/2 cups single (light) cream

• 2 eggs

• 2 egg yolks

• 100 g/4 oz/1/2 cup caster (superfine) sugar

• 5 ml/ tsp vanilla essence (extract)

• 300 ml/1 1/4 cups double (heavy) cream

• 225g/8oz strawberries pureed

• 5ml/1 tsp lemon juice

Method:

1. Prepare as for any of the vanilla ice creams, but blend in 225 g/8 oz strawberries pureed with 5 ml/1 tsp lemon juice before whisking in the whipped cream or Dream Topping.
