Dessert  Recipes - Orange Ice Cream Recipe

Ingredients

• 450 ml/2 cups single (light) cream

• 2 egg yolks

• 100 g/4 oz/1/2 cup caster (superfine) sugar

• finely grated rind and juice of 1 orange 

• 300 ml/1 1/4 cups double (heavy) cream

Method:

1. Prepare as for any of the vanilla ice creams , but omit the vanilla essence and add the finely grated rind and juice of 1 orange to the mixture at the final whisking, then freeze until firm.
