Cream Recipe
Ingredients

450 ml/2 cups
single (light) cream
-
2 egg yolks
-
100 g/4 oz/1/2 cup
caster (superfine) sugar

5 ml/1 tsp vanilla essence
(extract)
-
300 ml/1 1/4 cups double (heavy) cream
-
50g/2 oz/1/2 cup ground
pistachio nuts, finely chopped
Method:

Prepare
as for any of the
vanilla ice
creams, but add 50 g/2 oz/1/2 cup
finely
chopped
or ground
pistachio nuts to the mixture after
the final
whisking and color with a few drops
of green food coloring, if
liked.
Freeze until
firm.
