Knickerbockers Glory Recipe
Ingredients

1 packet of lemon-flavored jelly
(jello)
-
300 g/1 medium can of mandarin oranges, drained,
reserving the juice
-
1 sachet of Dream Topping mix
-
150 ml/2/3 cup
milk
-
150 ml/2/3 cup
fromage frais
-
Finely grated rind and juice of 1 lemon or orange
-
Caster (superfine)
sugar (optional)
-
8 scoops of any vanilla
ice cream
-
Crystallized (candied)
orange and lemon slices, to decorate
Method:
-
Make up the jelly according to the packet
directions, using the mandarin orange juice for the
some of the water. Chill until set, then roughly
chop.

Make up the Dream Topping with the milk
according to the packet directions.

Blend the fromage frais with the orange or lemon rind and
juice. Sweeten to taste, if liked, with sugar.

Spoon
half the jelly into four knickerbockers glory glasses
or other tall glasses. Top with the mandarin
oranges. Spoon the fromage frais over.

Top with the
remaining jelly. Add 2 scoops of ice cream to each,
pile the Dream Topping over and decorate with orange
and lemon slices.
