Dessert Recipes - Frizzled Trifle Recipe
Ingredients

small jam- (conserve-) filled
Swiss (jelly)
roll, sliced

ml/4 tbsp sherry

300
g/11 oz/1 medium can of mandarin
oranges, drained, reserving the juice

500 ml/17 fl
oz/2 1/4 cups bought lemon
sorbet

g/15 oz/1 large can of custard

Aerosol cream, to
decorate

Crystallized (candied) orange and lemon
slices and angelica leaves, to decorate
Method:

Arrange
the Swiss roll slices in the
base of a freezer proof serving dish. Sprinkle with
the sherry.

Add the drained mandarins and enough of
the juice to moisten to sponge.

Pile scoops of the
lemon sorbet in the centre and pour the custard
around. Freeze until firm.
-
Decorate with aerosol
cream, crystallized orange and lemon slices and
angelica leaves just before serving.
