Dessert Recipes - The Easiest Strawberry Cheesecake Recipe

Ingredients

• 23 cm/9 in sponge flan case

• 200 g/7 oz/scant 1 cup medium fat soft cheese

• 50 g/2 oz/1/4 cup caster (superfine) sugar

• 2.5 ml/1/2 tsp vanilla essence (extract)

• 150 ml/2/3 cup UHT (long-life) whipping cream, whipped

• 410 g/14 1/2 oz/1 large can of strawberry pie filling

Method:

1. Put the flan case (pie shell) on a serving plate. Beat the cheese with the sugar and vanilla essence.

2. Fold in the whipped cream. Turn into the Ban case and chill until fairly firm.

3. Spread the strawberry pie filling over before serving.
