Dessert Recipes - Quark Orange Jelly Recipe

Ingredients

• 1 packet of orange-flavored jelly (jello)

• Boiling water

• Finely grated rind and juice of 1 orange

• 100 g/4 oz/1/2 cup quark

• 2 oranges, rinded, sliced and quartered

Method:

1. Break up the jelly and place in a measuring jug. Make up to 150 ml/2/3 cup with boiling water. Stir until completely dissolved.

2. Add the orange rind and juice and make up to 450 ml/2 cups with cold water. Chill until the consistency of egg white.

3. Stir in the quark and turn into glasses. Chill until set. Decorate all over the top with quartered orange slices.
