Recipe
Ingredients

600 ml/2 1/2 cups
milk
-
30 ml/2 tbsp strawberry
milkshake syrup
-
10 ml/2 tsp caster
(superfine) sugar
-
A few drops of pink food
coloring
-
5
ml/1 tsp essence of rennet (or according to
manufacturer's instructions, if different)

100 g/4 oz fresh or
thawed frozen strawberries,
sliced

Whipped cream, to
decorate
Method:
-
Warm
the milk with the syrup,
sugar and
food coloring too
blood heat. Stir in the rennet.

Pour into three or
four glass serving dishes and leave at room
temperature until set, then chill.
-
Top each with a
spoonful of strawberries and a dollop of whipped
cream before serving.
