Ingredients

eggs, separated

g/4 oz/1/2 cup
caster (superfine) sugar

15 ml/1 tbsp powdered
gelatin

ml/4 tsp orange juice
-
Jam
(conserve)
-
Whipped cream Grated chocolate or crumbled
chocolate flake bar, to decorate
Method:

Whisk the egg whites until stiff. Add the sugar and
whisk again until peaking.

Whisk the yolks in a
separate bowl and fold into the meringue mixture.

Dissolve the gelatin in the orange juice in a bowl
over a pan of hot water or in the microwave. Fold
into the egg mixture.

Turn into a soufflé dish and
chill until set. When set, spread the top with jam,
then whipped cream, and cover with grated chocolate
or crumbled flake
bar.
