Dessert Recipes - After Dinner Coffee Fondue Recipe
Ingredients

900 ml/1
1/2pt/3 3/4 cups strong black
coffee

ml/3-4 tbsp brandy or whisky

20 ml/4 tsp light brown
sugar

American mini ring doughnuts or tiny plain choux balls ,
to serve

300 ml/1 1/4
cups double (heavy) cream, whipped

g/4 oz/1 cup plain (semi-sweet) chocolate, coarsely grated
Method:

Put the coffee, alcohol and sugar in the fondue pot
and heat until piping hot, stirring to dissolve the
sugar.

Arrange the doughnuts or choux balls on
serving plates with fondue forks. Put a small bowl
of whipped cream and a separate one of grated
chocolate at each place.

Dip the doughnuts or choux
balls in the coffee, then in the cream and chocolate
before eating.

Strain any remaining coffee into
small coffee cups and serve at the end.
