Dessert Recipes - Banana Honey Toasts Recipe

Ingredients

• 4 slices of whole meal bread, crusts removed

• Butter

• 2 small bananas, sliced

• 75 ml/5 tbsp clear honey

• 30 ml/2 tbsp orange flower water

• 2.5 ml1/2 tsp mixed (apple-pie) spice

• 30 ml/2 tbsp pine nuts

Method:

1. Spread the bread on both sides with butter and fry (sauté) on both sides to brown.

2. Place on plates and top with the banana slices. Melt together the honey, orange flower water and spice in a saucepan.

3. Drizzle over the banana and sprinkle with pine nuts.
