Dessert Recipes - Butterscotch Bananas Recipe
Ingredients

50 g/2 oz/1/4 cup
butter
-
75 g/3 oz/1/3 cup light
brown sugar

ml/2 tbsp lemon
juice
-
2.5 ml/1/2 tsp vanilla
essence (extract)

4 bananas
-
300 ml/1 1/4 cups
Greek-style Yoghurt
-
Toasted flaked
(slivered) almonds
Method:

Put the butter, sugar, lemon juice and vanilla in a
frying pan (skillet). Heat gently, stirring, until
the sugar melts.

Thickly slice the bananas and add
to the pan. Cook for 1 minute. Divide the yoghurt
between four sundae glasses.

Spoon over the banana
slices in their sauce, sprinkle with the almonds and
serve.
