Dessert Recipes - Crepes au Chocolate Recipe

Ingredients

• 1 quantity of Simple Pancakes

• 8 strawberries

• 60 ml/4 tbsp kirsch

• 300 ml/1 1/4 cups whipping cream

• 60 ml/4 tbsp drinking (sweetened) chocolate powder

• 60 ml/4 tbsp grated chocolate

• Icing (confectioners') sugar, for dusting

Method:

1. Make the pancakes. Cut the strawberries in several slices from the point to the calyx, not quite right through and gently pull so they fan out.

2. Place in a bowl and sprinkle with the kirsch. Whip the cream with the drinking chocolate and grated chocolate.

3. Spread on the cold crepes, roll up and top each with a kirsch-soaked strawberry. Dust with icing sugar and serve straight away.
