Hazelnut Sauce Recipe
Ingredients

Simple Pancakes

175 g/6 oz/1 1/2 cups plain
(semi-sweet) chocolate
-
50 g/2 oz/1/4
cup unsalted (sweet) butter
-
75 g/3 oz/3/4 cup chopped
hazelnuts (filberts)

Toasted whole
hazelnuts, to decorate
Method:
-
Make the pancakes and keep warm on a plate over a
pan of hot water. Break up the chocolate and place
in a bowl with the butter and nuts.

Stand the bowl
over a pan of hot water and heat, stirring, until
melted. Spoon over the pancakes and serve sprinkled
with toasted hazelnuts.
