Recipes - Easy Apple Strudels Recipe
Ingredients

1 cooking apple, chopped
-
40g/3 tbsp granulated sugar
-
30ml/2 tbsp sultanas (golden
raisins)

2.5ml/1/2 tsp ground
cinnamon

4 sheets of filo pastry
-
20g/1 1/2 tbsp butter,
melted
Method:

Mix the apple
with the sugar, sultanas and cinnamon. brush the
pastry sheets with a little of the butter. Fold into
halves and brush again.

Divide the
filling equally between the pastry rectangle,
placing it towards the middle of one edge. Fold in
the sides, then roll up.

Transfer to a
lightly greased baking sheet and bush with any
remaining butter.

Bake in a
preheated oven at 190C/375F/gas mark 5 for 10-15
minutes until golden and cooked though.
