Ingredients

Butter, for greasing

tbsp clear honey

50 g/2 oz/1/3 cup
raisins

100 g/4 oz/1 cup
plain (all-purpose)
flour
-
A pinch of salt

2 eggs

300 ml/1 1/4 cup
caster (superfine)
sugar
Method:

Grease a 900 ml/3 3/4 cup pudding basin.
Put the honey in the base, then add the raisins.

Sift the flour and salt into a bowl. Beat in the
eggs and half the milk until smooth, then stir in
the remaining milk and the sugar.

Pour over the
raisins. Cover with a double thickness of greased
greaseproof (waxed) paper or foil and steam for 1
1/2
hours.
