Dessert Recipes - Oranges and Chestnut Kebabs Recipe
Ingredients

350
g/12 oz/1 large can of chestnuts, drained if necessary

50 g/2 oz/1/4 cup butter

Grated rind and juice of
1/2
orange
-
15ml/1 tbsp light brown sugar

1
whole orange, halved and thickly sliced

Chantilly Cream,
to serve
Method:

Put the chestnuts in a shallow dish. Melt the
butter, stir in the orange rind and juice and the
sugar. Heat gently until the sugar has dissolved.

Pour over the chestnuts and turn to coat completely.
Leave to soak for 30 minutes.

Thread on to kebab
skewers, interspersing with half slices of orange. Lay on a piece of foil on a grill (broiler) rack.

Grill (broil) for 4-5 minutes, turning occasionally,
until golden, brushing with any remaining marinade
during cooking. Serve warm with Chantilly Cream.
