Ingredients

100 g/4 oz/1/2 cup granulated sugar

150 ml/2/3
cup water

wineglass of rose wine
-
3
peaches, skinned, halved, stoned
(pitted) and sliced

g/4 oz
strawberries, halved if large
-
225 g/8 oz
raspberries

Viennese
Fingers,
to serve
Method:
-
Put the sugar, water and wine in a saucepan and heat
gently, stirring, until the sugar dissolves. Bring
to the boil and boil rapidly for 2 minutes.

Add the
peaches, strawberries and raspberries, bring back to
the boil, then remove from the heat.

Leave to cool,
then turn into a serving dish and chill until ready
to serve with Viennese Fingers.
