Dessert Recipes - Spanish Strawberry Fizz Recipe

Ingredients

• 225 g/8 oz strawberries, hulled and sliced

• 20 ml/4 tsp caster (superfine) sugar

• 1/2 lime

• 1/2 bottle of sparkling Spanish rose wine, chilled

Method:

1. Divide the strawberries between four champagne flutes.

2. Sprinkle with the sugar and add a squeeze of lime juice to each. Chill for at least 30 minutes.

3. When ready to serve, top up with the wine and serve straight away.
