Dessert Recipes - Warm Fruit Bowl Recipe
Ingredients

ml/1 1/4 cups water

g/3 oz/1/3 cup granulated sugar

green eating (dessert) apple, diced but
not peeled

1 red
eating apple, diced but not peeled

pear, peeled and diced

2
oranges, all pith and peel removed,
sliced

2 bananas, thickly sliced

15 ml/1 tbsp raisins,
or halved seedless grapes

ml/4 tsp lemon juice
Method:

Put the water and sugar in a saucepan and heat
gently until the sugar has dissolved, stirring
occasionally.

Bring to the boil and boil for 3-4
minutes until the syrup is thickened but not colored.

Meanwhile, put the prepared fruit in a
serving bowl and sprinkle with the lemon juice. Toss
gently.

Pour the hot syrup over and leave to stand
for 10 minutes. Serve warm.
